You NEED to explain better what add ons work in YOUR worlds and which ones work alone. Me and my girlfriend just spent $20 on stuff we thought would be SOOOO fun to find out we cant put it together, Uninstalling this is bs.

2 issues I've had. It is confusing to know if you are gettin just some hand crafted world, or something that you can add to an existing world. For example "the end reimagined". There are 2 of them that I saw, I bought the cooler looking one but couldnt add it like the other ones. I had to make a new world. Then I realized the other one might work because it says vanilla friendly. I'm still not sure exactly how to tell.

The second issue is that it would be really nice to be able to refund addons. I've had 1 that didnt work, and 1 that isnt what I thought I was getting. Not very happy spending $9 on some other dudes world.

The addition of add ons allowing for mod-like features for bedrock is amazing. I have tried a few, and for the most part they layer on top of each other okay. I had one instance where one messed up the visuals of another, but removing one of the add ons fixed that issue. I would love to see a bushy leaves add on and a 3D textures add on in the future. I think that there needs to be more free add ons or an ability for people to create and upload their own add ons to the marketplace. Additionally, I think that if someone has an add on they would like to see added to the marketplace, and by someone I see anyone, that they have created, they should be able to send it to mojang for review, and then have it uploaded freely or with a monetary value given to them so that anyone with a cool minecraft mod for bedrock can share their code with others who would enjoy it.

Complete ripoff. Just purchased 3 addons, on the understanding that they could be activated in an existing world, as per Microsoft FAQ. No option to add into an existing world, purely to create a new world from the add-on template! Rip off and a very annoyed and disappointed son.

Do not buy Add-Ons; they are a waste of money. All they do is break the game, and there is no telling which add-ons are compatible with which, which can also break the game. I keep having problems hosting worlds and inviting my friends to play. They can't even get in the game because the add-ons are very buggy; it is insane.

I've been using the marketplace to find add-ons for a while now. I've found a couple of very interesting ones that I enjoyed playing on and some that weren't what I expected it them to be. For me that's a serious issue. Currently there is no way to test any marketplace content before you buy it. So, sometimes you end up with something that wasn't what you were looking for.

My solution for this issue is that you should have free demo versions available in the marketplace. They can be limited versions of the full add-on without all the features unlocked or ever available to use for a limited time only after its activation. This way a player can download the free and limited version, test it for some time and then proceed to buy the complete version with all features.

I believe this is going to improve greatly the experience of all minecraft players that use the marketplace. It'll also enhance the discoverability of quality content.

I know it's difficult, but we should create a distribution site for non-authorized add-on makers (like FORGE)

From that site, mojang will take a percentage of the advertising revenue

To be clear, the current official paid add-ons are just imitations of the unofficial free add-ons, they just look different. The current official paid add-ons are just imitations of the unofficial free add-ons, and there is no point in paying for them!

(This may be unnatural because I am using Deepl's translation. Sorry)

I love Add-ons but I also love mods. Personally I would love to see better mod capabilties for Bedrock cause you can go wild when it comes to java mods. I personally would love to see big franchises like dc ,marvel , Pokemon, Power Rangers, and more to get official Bedrock Addons. I love playing mods with these characters and stuff from these franchises. That's me and some other people who want this and I think you could make some money off of these as well.

Also to another persons point nobody likes to pay for mods but also the creators never get compensated so they would just be making mods as a glorified hobby. Mod Makers love to make mods but it's not a viable source of income for them unless they sell their mods.

Add-ons are really great, but too many add-ons slows world loading.

So it'll be better if world could load faster

    PLEASE HEAR ME OUT!
    Stop scamming people.
I've been sticking around Minecraft since 2011 and I respect people who create mods, but I'm not ready to pay tens of bucks to simply play with MODS in a game that is priced highly enough already regardless of "how easy" they are to deploy.
All of the content listed on this marketplace as "addons" is available for java edition for free.
Minecraft used to be about CREATING stuff, and NOT about HAVING TO PAY for stuff...
You should be ashamed of yourselves for making this real...

We propose the addition of a centralized in-game system to manage and display guides for Marketplace and Add-on content, similar in functionality to Java Edition's popular FTB Quests or Just Enough Items mods. This system would eliminate the need for individual "Guide Books" to spawn in the player's inventory, improving user experience and world cleanliness.
    Problem:
The current method for providing information on add-ons (through physical books that appear upon world load) leads to significant issues, including:
Clutter: Spawning multiple books when a player uses several add-ons, cluttering the inventory and game world.
Inconvenience: Players must locate and carry these books to access essential information.
Limited Functionality: The books are static and lack the interactive features of a true in-game guide
    Proposed Solution:
Introduce a new, unified system accessible via the pause menu or a dedicated button in the player's inventory. This system would serve as a central hub for all add-on information, offering:
A Centralized Library: A digital "quest book" or "manual" that automatically populates with guides for all installed add-ons.
Interactive Features: Each entry could contain sections, searchable keywords, and potentially even track quests or progress related to the add-on's features.
Enhanced Player Experience: This would provide a cleaner, more intuitive way for players to learn about new content, reducing frustration and improving the overall quality of Addons

I am happy to see this right at the top. I am at the point where I own a bunch of addons (over 100) and it’s becoming tedious dealing with them. My feedback is to add a few options to the marketplace and settings menus. First is a new option for sorting, by size, largest to smallest or vice versa. Another is the option to tag addons for so you can quickly identify them preferably with color coding so we aren’t restrained by why we want to color code 15 one color and 6 the next (it would help for load order, identifying favorites or rating them. Last is a Minecraft portal of sorts that would allow you to add an addon to say, the PC and when it’s in the list as owned it should transfer automatically to your account, not the individual item. I’m not so sure about the last suggestion but the first 2 would be awesome. Love the work you folks are doing, thank you!!!
