It seems to me that it should be possible to put parrots in a copper grate

A lot of people have mentioned water flowing through copper grates, but I think it would be very useful if bubble columns could flow through them too. This would stop people from having to take damage from the magma block in downwards elevators, and could make elevators with multiple floors easier to navigate.

The copper doors/trapdoors recipe are too expensive. Replace copper blocks with copper ingots. I know the only reason for this is there's no oxidized version of the ingots but you guys should add them. Copper ingots can be oxidized and turns into oxidized copper ingots so that you can craft copper doors/trapdoors with cheaper price. Also, copper ore should randomly drop regular copper ingots, exposed, weathered and oxidized

Copper grates should be waterlogged since they're transparent and have holes

Copper grates should at the very least be water-loggable. Even better would be that it just allows water to flow through it. It could also be interesting if it allowed items to pass through and maybe centered them. That could make it a good companion to the output of a crafter that could let you have adjacent crafters producing different items without mixing the outputs.

The chiselled tuff variants should definitely be rotatable (I.e. behave like logs)

I think you should give the copper doors/trapdoors their own mechanics.

Maybe, as some other players suggested, lock them when they are powered, or make the redstone behavior of copper doors/trapdoors like the copper bulb, so that their state is toggled when they receive a redstone signal.

Personally, I like the second variant more, because I think the first one is too similar to the iron door/trapdoor. But you can make much more compact door designs if it is possible to toggle the door state instead of keeping it open with a permanent signal.

I also like the special effect of copper that it has multiple oxidation states. So I suggest giving the copper doors, like the light bulb, a special effect for more oxidized doors/trap doors. I think it could be very nice if you can open the normal door/trapdoor with only one click. and then it needs an extra click for each oxidized state. So that for the last state you need 4 clicks to open the door completely. (So with each click the door is opened a little bit further.

If the redstone thing (toggle doors/trapdoors with a signal) is "accepted", you could make it so that the oxidized door takes several redstone pulses to open or close completely. With this mechanic you can add much more detail and usage to the doors/trapdoors than just doors and trapdoors.

In addition, there would be significantly more opportunities for adventure worlds, for example.

I adore Tuff, and am extremely excited about getting more this upcoming update. I like the shading and shaped nature of them especially being different.

My one and only gripe with the textures is how the top, bottom, and middle don't carryon with the rest of the 6 other bricks (even the mud and quartz bricks with have the 3 brick bottoms instead of the 2 brick bottom halves)
this throws off shading, texturing, and other similar effects since the more structured and textured block in the lineup, is the one that seems to be drooping.
Adjusting the texture to be one up, or more like the tiles/nether/classic bricks could also be a solution, but I love the Tuff bricks as is aside from the alignment of the block texture.

It is an amazing texture, but the asymmetry to the rest of the bricks feels more like a bug than a feature since it breaks the mold.

I love the new blocks and am already thinking of new ways to build with them! I'd love to see the tuff blocks (at least the tuff bricks) get a mossy variant. Mossy stone bricks are one of my favorite blocks in the game and I'd love to see another block that can work with it.

I think the redstone crystal in the bulbs looks a bit strange as of right now, it looks almost velvety in colour since it feels somewhere between on and off and is almost the same colour as unoxidized copper. If the art team were to tweak it and make it a bit brighter (or add some glow around since it's a crystal), I think this would make more sense. Thank you for taking feedback!

Please could you add the copper and tuff golem for minecraft 1.21. It just makes sense because of the new copper and tuff blocks. My post for the copper and tuff golem even has the most votes in the 1.21 update category so everyone will love it.

Maybe you could add a nose to the bat as it looks a bit weird without one.

Maybe since Mojang don't want us to die redstonelamps we could die the copper bulbs instead or Mojang could make redstonelamps disable and not copper bulbs.

i made a post that suggests a new copper block sub-set, if you guys could think of one last block to add to the suggestion, we will have nine, and Mojang will HAVE to add them, or at least the walls!

    Talking of new copper blocks:

    1) Let's add a copper bucket that can be used with cold temperature items only. In times where you just don't have (or cannot find) the iron to craft an iron bucket, and it seems that only copper is available to you --- then it would be so nice to be able to craft a copper bucket. Cold items only: like water, milk, snow, fish, axolotls, frogs, tadpoles, squid. No hot items like lava because lava could melt the copper bucket.

    2) Let's add a copper gold mining pan to pan for gold in a badlands biome river or a deep underground river. Make it so that it can sometimes pan gemstones like diamond, emerald, lapis, etc.

The copper trapdoor recipe is insane. 54 copper ingots (= 6 copper blocks) is way too much

Either make blaze rods obtainable for peaceful players or change the recipe. No farms using the copper bulb will be accessible for those players. Parity should also include parity between game modes...

if copper is similar to iron, why not having some copper bars ? Like iron one but in copper (plus the oxydation). And I realy see it fits well with the copper grate to create some catwalk.

Copper Grates are a really nice and unique block, it's a shame they don't have a unique function as well.

One idea for them could be to allow item entities to pass through Copper Grates, but not mobs.  This could create a really unique use case for them!

I agree with the others. Copper doors and trapdoors should lock when powered by redstone. It would still fit with the Breeze being unable to flip them with its Wind Charges. The functionality is pretty much partway in the game, just make the blocks do this with players too.

I love the new blocks and I have a few suggestions : copper fences would be really cool, copper mesh that would work like iron bars or glass panes, copper grate stairs and slabs (the slabs would be one or two pixels tall like like thin plates, the stairs would be made up of two of those plates connected by thin supports) and I think this would be the best time to add green fire and green lanterns and torches to the game.

I personally think that the copper door/trapdoor should function similarly to the copper bulb in the sense that they should only change open/closed state on the rising edge of a redstone signal.

The current implementation of the Copper bulb is useful that it gives a block update on both the rising and falling edge, but having an additional block which only gives block updates on the rising edge would be phenomenal and allow for even more flexibility.

I also think it would be interesting from a game-design perspective because it would make it so that copper has its own "property" different from other materials, being capable of holding its current state without the support of powered/unpowered redstone.
