It is a cool idea but I mean you did just defeat the ender dragon so I think they didn't want a huge challenge for you to get the elytra

Well good idea but what would be the point of totems then, plus if it were in game the game wouldn't be as fun as the hardcore survival game wouldn't be hardcore anymore as you can undo anything
