I'm not sure if this is a thing, but when Endermen spawn they should have the teleport particles around them, making it seem as if they have just teleported from another dimension with the block

Still, while blocks breaking under pressure would be annoying, it wouldn't have too much of an impact as most blocks aren't affected by gravity, so they wouldn't come tumbling down

Blocks may get broken over time if they have too much weight on them. For example, concrete could be crushed into concrete powder

I think this would be useful for snow, if powdered snow turns into snow when packed, and then snow could turn into packed snow, then ice, packed ice, blue ice, etc
