I think a name based upon "finite" would be good, as it means end and plenty of materials end with "ite." Finite -> Fynite -> Phynite?

Actually, the recipe should include a bottle which can be replaced with a potion to turn the potion's bottle into an amethyst bottle

Redstone is a medium for electricity. Electricity exists in Minecraft already as seen by lightning. Redstone is merely used to transfer electricity

I don't think electricity should be added as redstone is kind of a medium for it already. I do think magnetic fields would be cool

When Glow Squids shoot out ink it could either stun mobs and/or give them night vision

@ChillValor, Java players can't hold torches in their offhand for it to give off light unless they have mods or Optifine
