This could be used for slop which would work better if it could only be placed in cauldrons/troughs

I agree that normal cauldrons should be able to not only hold potions but combine them as well. This could be an alternative to stacking potions and stews

I can't even get myself into a cauldron when I am standing on it, much less falling into it

This would be more useful if dyable blocks and objects combine colors instead of overwriting them
