Eh, you can already attach a lot of storage to them by using chest boats, or other mobs that have chests

Or maybe player heads could be shown above the dots, pointing down to them, that way you can still use the feature of telling how far away someone is based on their dot size

Leaf blocks should match the color of leaf litter when in cold biomes, such as the Dappled Forest

When jumped into, it should create a burst of leaf particles, possibly decreasing the size of the pile
