4 seconds sounds like a reeeeeally long time for stun, i mean, 0.5 sec might be okay, anything longer than that is generally long enough to end the fight.

also the inability to remove it is so people don't just go daytime armour (full enchanted netherite) nighttime armour (black leather shadowstride)

The idea is in full darkness 30% of hits don't connect, so it's based on dodging not attack speed, sorry. I just think stuff like this would be useful for people like me who use minimal armour
