Copper is weaker than iron, and that's not how to make steel anyway. Maybe they could add a new, rare kind of coal that generates with coal veins that is combined with iron to craft steel armor.

This would lead to enchantments being easier to get in early game, when enchanting table are intended to be difficult to acquire due to the obsidian required. And... grandvil?

Minecarts are an entity and so take damage, such as from being in a campfire.

This has a bit of a bostaff feel to it, so maybe it could be made of bamboo instead to make it go along with an Asian theme.
