It could have cave ponds or cave creeks that have different colored water. Cave crayfish or cave fish could spawn in them. This would add exciting life to cave exploration.

New mobs could be cave fish that spawn in pools generated in new cave biome. Cave crickets could be hostile or neutral arthropod mobs.
