Giant salamanders could be a rare variant of axolotls.

Maybe instead of dinosaurs, they could be gigantic sedimentary creepers, and you have to kill them before they blow up. When killed, they drop a bunch of gunpowder and bone blocks. They could spawn...

On first look I've accidentally mistaken the name with the Voltaris, the Ardoni clan from Songs of War.

Sculk sensors should be able to detect when the enchantment table opens and closes its book. This would make a great player detector.

Baby parrots don't have feathers, but baby chickens aren't yellow and don't chirp so I don't see a problem with this idea.
