Giant salamander

The giant salamander is an endangered animal so it wouldn’t hurt to raise awareness and add it to minecraft

    Giant salamanders could be a rare variant of axolotls.

    These mobs could live on the bottom of river beds and occasionally come up. Their diet could be made of insects (spiders, silverfish, etc) and potentially a new crayfish mob. It would also be nice to give these lazy amphibians some sort of farming ability, as then the community wouldn’t deem them useless.
