It would seem good, though with a lot of totems of undying, and a lot of fireworks, falling from a really high place would be another way of griefing.

Wait, they used to not be hostile? I didn't know that, but I don't totally agree with that. With witches being as rare as they are (same as witch huts) they're a rare 'challenge' to come across. I ...

I agree, it would make Minecraft a bit more realistic, and you wouldn't have to wait 10 minutes for a cat to approach you and allow you to feed it fish.
