Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Green Bamboo Wood

The bamboo wood that was announced at this year's Minecraft Live was tan colored, and I think it would be better if it had a green color instead, because birch wood already has that tan tone, and the closest wood we have to green is warped stem which is more blue than green, and it's even more logical to have the bamboo wood green since bamboo IS green, or it could be the bamboo mosaic that's green.

My point is that builders need a new green wood type, and I think bamboo wood would be great to fill in that gap!

    Maybe there is Old Bamboo, which is the Tan colour, and Young Bamboo, which is Green

    Yup Green bamboo should be a thing.Maby with system similar to copper.You place it green but when it dries it change colour

    Maybe the tan color can stay, only if you strip the green variant. Another idea I have is to have a 3rd bamboo wood, smoked bamboo. If you put the bamboo wood in a furnace, it will become smoked bamboo, which will have a red-brown look to it.

    Look dead bamboos are tan colored in real life as well

    Yea Bamboos are Green so why not. Minecraft, you don't have to be realistic...
