Sand dunes beach biome

Sand dunes are an overlooked environment that is really important to healthy beach ecosystems, a bit like how mangroves shelter warmer coastlines. They could be a variant of beaches that feature large rolling hills and a new grass, marrem grass, which stabilises them. To teac about its stabilising effect, it could make sand its placed on, not fall. A beach update is long overdue regardless, but this could be a good start
