Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Tomatoes

Tomatoes will be able to grow on tilled soil, and require the same amount of sunlight to grow as potatoes and carrots. These tomatoes could look the same as flowers do on peonies. You can also throw these tomatoes like snowballs. Lastly, these tomatoes can grow in plains and spruce villages, and you can find them in village chests, stronghold chests, or zombie/drowned drops.

    A good idea (more crops would be fun), but it should offer some unique purpose like the other crops do, so it's not just a re-textured/duplicate crop, or "growable snowball".

    You could also craft tomato soup and tomato salsa.
