Taller trees have been suggested multiple times. However, I want to add a functional context: When my girlfriend and I play Minecraft and try to explore, we use the horse to move and map areas faster. However, when in forests, the leaves are low to the ground and we can't move passed them. This especially becomes an issue when trying to climb a single dirt block on the ground and there is a leaf block above your head. While using a hoe is functional to remove leaves quickly, it becomes overly tedious when leaf blocks impede your path constantly. Once in a while is fine but when it happens constantly, it makes it hard to enjoy and explore the beauty of Minecraft.
You guys can approach this issue any way you'd like. My initial thought is to make trees one or two blocks taller so that leaves spawn on the 5th or 6th block of the tree trunk and occasionally on the 4th. This way riding through a forest is more fun.
I hope this helps. Thank you for your time. Long Live Minecraft!
