Sweat and Thirst.

Sweat should drip from Players when they are in the Desert Biome or the Nether Dimension, It could also Bring Thurst into the Game giving Water Bottles and Milk a Purpose. 

Only Drinking can Stop the Player from Sweating and having low bars of Thirst.
