Chest plates and elytras

Please please please make it so that you can have chest plates and elytras on at the same time.

    1) "Elytras" isn't a word because "elytra" is already plural form of a pair of elytron.

    2) That's not a good idea as it would be very unbalanced. It's designed to be separate. Players have to toggle between more protection or the ability to "fly"/glide in various given situations. Having both at once is lazy and overpowered.

    I agree but it should be an elytra and chest plate at the same time: an elytra chest plate

    There are mods for this. It's not going to be in the base game.
