Deepslate Slabs, Stairs, and Walls

I know we have walls for cobbled, polished, and deepslate tiles, but regular deepslate has been neglected. Blackstone is also a pillar block with a different side texture and top texture, and it has its variants, so why can't deepslate have them too?

    Blackstone is not a pillar block. I think you’re thinking of basalt, which doesn’t have slabs, stairs, or walls.

    It has a different texture on the top and bottom than its sides.

    While Blackstone does have a separate texture for the top/bottom and sides, it's not a pillar block. The top always faces up no matter how you place it. Deepslate, however, functions like Basalt and acts like a pillar block.

    Although I still don't see why they shouldn't still be able to do that... the deepslate ores don't have the same pillar functions as the regular deepslate, and they have the same texture on all sides. The same could apply for the slabs and stairs and it wouldn't be a big deal.
