The essence of the update is to add electricity other than redstone. A huge amount of electricity can be generated using lightning and the existing copper lightning rod. You need to add a new battery pack. Wires are blocks created from copper, connected to adjacent wires and electronics, having a very small capacity for charge and instantaneous conduction of electricity. You also need a converter unit into which batteries are inserted or into which an electric current flows, converting it into mechanical or physical work, such as burning furnaces or driving a trolley without an electric rail. Also, the wires, when ejected by the ejector, immediately turn into a block (for convenient laying of wires). You can get electricity in other ways, but on a smaller scale - an electric generator, a separate block that runs on solid coal, which is crafted using a bucket of water, three iron ingots and two copper ingots. You can add electrical conductivity to some blocks, but to a lesser extent. When touching such blocks, the player and mobs take damage, electricity is lost. You can also make a resistor for electricity, controlled by a redstone. The final idea is this: redstone is a subject for calculations, calculation and signal wiring, and electricity for the implementation of physical actions.
