Crops not growing if player is far..

crops do not get updated (do not grow) if player gets farther than chunk update radius.. I have an easy to implement suggestion for "fixing this", which is to simply check the time stamp of last recent visit of chunk (I don't know if you have that property for a chunk but I think you should), then compare it with current time stamp of game, and to add "growth" to the crop based on the diffrence between the two time stamps.

this idea could be applied to various things other than crops.. trees, spawners, etc etc...

this could really add fluidity and realism to the already amazing game..

    It’s so annoying when that happens it also sucks when you go away from you crops for like 5 days and they haven’t grown AT ALL.
