Unlocking new inventory slots

Its no secret Minecraft should add more inventory slots, 

the way they could do this is have majority of the new ones locked behind items, the items you need could be from different biomes and dimensions to encourage exploration and give another solid reason for the deep dark.

    But there's bundles and shulker boxes for extra inventory slots.

    given bundles don't parity well, this is the simpler option, though whether just a straight-up increasee in the player inventory or adding a GUI slot for a Backpack/Bundle armor upgrade option is the real question in my mind. having it  be a progress series adds to gameplay though some hassle as well if a player losses their backpack/bundle from death. It could be tiered though with leather giving 3 slots, iron 6, gold 9, diamond 12, and neitherite 15 or 18 slots. going this route only adds to shulkers so should cut down on those protests.
