Stripping a log gives you "bark" item that you can use to unstrip a tree.

Bark can be used to make a stripped log into a normal log incase you accidentally strip a log in your house.

    Yes! Also the bark can be fuel; material for twisting ropes; fertilizer.

    I think it would be cool to also have bark be usable on other blocks, could possibly be a type of wallpaper

    Many people want and have suggested this.

    Plus, there's several other uses for bark (minimal fuel and food, alternative to leather crafts and bowls, etc.)
