Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Torches lighting up when held

It doesn’t make any sense that you have to place a torch for it to light up. Can we fix this?

    Also the possibility of torches being able to be held in the offhand in bedrock? That technically would be java parity but still.

    It doesn't exist because dynamic lighting is a performance issue for the base game, by having blocks constantly update their light levels at the speed of the player, and this would especially make MC inaccessible for low-end PC players.

    It's so annoying having to mine in pitch darkness when you run out of torches. I will be able to atleast save one torch so I'm not playing blind.
