Parity is something that's super important to our developers so everyone gets the same experience across Java and Bedrock. While this doesn't always happen simultaneously, major features that have been announced are in the works for both clients. Don't worry!

    this is gonna create a caos on the online part of the game, because everyone knows that always exists yhat hater kid that wants to report you anyways and this is gonna ruin the entire mood of minecraft, server already had moderators, why you need to add a mechanic to ruin our (im a moderator on servers) work, we can do it, why you think we are not enought or you think we dont even exist

    Do not add this reporting feature. It should be up to individual servers to moderate their playerbase. This feature is both intrusive and highly likely to be overzealous.

    Chat reporting will be be problematic because the moderators will have no way of knowing the context

    Adding stuff like this is akin to opening Pandora's box. As others have stated in much more detail, this will only empower those who intend to cause harm.

    No. Just no, this new chat reporting system is awful. We already have chat reporting systems on servers, we don't need your new system.

    As a minecraft player I don't like this. We have Moderators for these things! Some people will abuse this for illegitimate purpose!

    Why is this feedback post here? I know everything that everyone is saying here will fall on deaf ears. Is it just a formality that has to go along with every Minecraft change? I have never seen a need for this level of moderation in the 10+ years I have owned this game. Do you think server owners are incapable of moderating their own servers?

    Chat reports are a bad idea. This will only lead to abuse of this system.
