Flare Light

Have an option to create a flare, which can then be thrown into a dark area. I’d suggest that the flare have the same light giving properties as a torch, but have approximately 30 seconds before expiring after it hits solid ground. I want this so that exploring new areas of large caves is a little easier; since a flare will give me a good idea of what blocks I will find there without using the energy and resources of placing torches everywhere.

    Ok... Torches are pretty cheap, so how easy are these to get?

    (Idea: 1 fire charge in the center, 1 gunpowder on top, bottom, left, right for 32 flare lights. You can also find them in large quantities in some loot chests)

    Also, this will have to work like a block; it will be an entity until it hits a block, and then it will center itself on the block and turn into a block form, which is automatically put out after landing.

    Get Optifine, turn on dynamic lighting, and shoot a flaming arrow into the dark.
