Film:
Film can be made in a 2 step process.
- The first step is to put wax on a crafting table to create undeveloped film. 1 peice of film is comprised of 720 frames (enough for 30 seconds of footage at 24 frames per second).
- The film can be extended with more wax.
- The second step is to develop the film by dipping it in potion of night vision. Now the film is ready to be used.
Camera:
- When it is equiped, you right click to bring up a menu.
- the menu contains a space to load film onto the camera, frame rate settings, and your inventory.
- the frame rate setting allows you to choose how many fames per second are recorded. lower framerates can record longer, but its more choppy, while a higher framerate is smother, but can't record as long.
- once eveything is prepared, you hold down the left click, or right trigger, to record.
- if you want to delete your recording, dip the film in water.
Editing:
You edit with the crafting table. here's what you can do.
- placing film over another will put the scenes next to eachother.
- Placing film next to eachother will fade the two scenes together
- Placing film diagonally will place the scenes next to eachother, and the first scene will fade into the next one, like a transition.
- Placing film with dye will tint the scene.
Projectors:
- Place the film on the projector, and as long as the projector is standing in front of a solid wall and there is redstone power, the movie will play.
- You can set the projector to play at different framerates.
Edit: these films are silent and b/w
