    I’m pretty sure this was a previously considered idea, and was dismissed. It would be cool, but I think Mojang won’t add fish tanks for the same reason they won’t add furniture: it “inhibits creativity.”

    I agree, fish tanks are relatively easy to make in-game with light blue glass blocks, some sand and a bunch of decorations from the sea floor. If it's too big, dedicate a wall to it as the inside only needs to be 1 or 2 blocks thick.
