Throwing Tomahawk

The throwing tomahawk would be a close range throwing weapon. It would not be stackable, but when it hits a player or mob it will damage it, bounce off, and land on the ground so you can collect it again. This weapon would deal good knockback and would be used to hit a player or mob before it is the range of your melee weapon. It won’t be as powerful as something like the trident, but with its strong knockback ability it could be used to keep a player or mob “off balance”. Throwing it would be quick since it’s short range and it would be a quick weapon to obtain, being crafted with 3 iron, gold, or copper nuggets and 2 sticks.

    Maybe they can be thrown one-handed (weaker, but faster. You get this if you have something in your other hand), or two handed (stronger but slower throw), and you can throw two one-handed ones at a time.

    I love this idea! If this is added, they will need to add copper nuggets as well (as copper nuggets are not currently in the game). I think gold should be the weakest, then copper, and then iron. Also, I like the idea of having one-handed and two-handed tomahawks, but they should be different items, with the two-handed one either requiring more sticks (larger handle) or more nuggets (bigger (and therefore heavier) blade) to explain why it needs to be used with two hands.

    I think that the ax could stick into the shields, increasing its mass.
