Idea for the possible new portal in the abandoned cities

Since we already have very dangerous dimensions like the Nether or the End. Maybe for the possible new portal in the abandoned cities, why not make the new portal take you to a heaven-like dimension? Almost like the Aether, where you are able to roam around without being attacked or falling into the void and possibly find rare items like the Enchanted Golden Apple. Kinda like the mushroom biome, which is the only safe place to be in the world of Minecraft. It could give the player another good reason for wanting to explore the abandon cities, besides finding valuable loot.

    What does this have to do with the deep dark
