Netherrite beacons should give players an effect called SANCTITY where a player would, if in a radius of the beacon never die. This shouldn't be an issue since a beacon like that is 6 months of netherrite mining every day. It's a big task bigger than anything like mob switches and raid farms removing hostile creatures and giving extra lives(totems of undying). A netherrite beacon can give a sense of safety in your base. This could also make every block in the radius of the beacon 200% harder so explosions are weaker to your builds (with the price of a slower mining speed).
Diamond beacons should give you the power of constant night vision if you in a radius and it would make every block around it softer to the touch. So any blocks in a radius of the beacon would be easy for explosions and pickaxes to get rid of. A PERFECT remedy for the loss of fun due to how diamond mining with therapeutic insta-minable stone is now a thing of the past now that deepslate is here.
