Fire doesn't burn diamonds instantly

Anything but netherite burns in fire... but it doesnt make sense that strong itens, like diamonds, burn instantly! So I suggest you to make it so that diamonds and its derivatives, while on fire, only loose their usability (for example, every second it looses 15 uses/durability while on fire); and also it could be done in the cactus too, including netherite, because that's just very annoying and sad...     Makes sense as diamond has a high sublimation point and helps reduces frustration when you make a mistake costing several hours
    How about also making it so when shulker boxes touch lava, it will split its contents so that any netherite inside won't burn.

    Diamond is pure carbon. In lava, it will burn almost instantly.
