new uses for leather boots

farming

leather boots are soft it should be impossible to trample any farm land while wearing them

warden

leather boots are quite, they should reduce the sound radius of falling or walking around the warden and skulk sensors.

the nether

leather is a great insulator, what if it protected the player from magma blocks for 2 seconds while standing.

these feature along with the powdered snow will be a good reason to keep some leather boots in your inventory when going out exploring.

  Makes sense. Right now iron is better in every way, including collecting the resources needed, so this would work well.
