Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Spears

The spear would be a weapon that you can throw similarly to the trident. You can hit players or mobs from a distance and would be crafted from two sticks and a piece of flint. It would have the loyalty enchantment and some new ones like vaulting. A variant of it would be a sparked spear, made with redstone instead of flint. This version would be able to send a redstone signal if thrown at redstone dust, the power increasing by how far the throw is.

    Iron spears are also worth adding. Polearms should decrease stats if the second hand is occupied.

    Questions: How would you enchant it? And how much durability would it have? (I imagine it would have to same as a bow: ~250)

    The only thing I have to say is that I think to craft the sparked variation, the recipe should be a spear and one or two redstone dust.
