Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

New Nether Ore: Nether Nickel Ore

When this new ore is mined by a stone pickaxe or higher, it drops raw nickel, by which can be smelted into nickel ingots. The main primary use for nickel is by combining them with hoppers in the crafting table to create a new hopper variant called the compact hopper. Compact hoppers are new special types of hoppers that filter through only specific items that the player wants whilst discarding others. For example, if a player only wanted to put diamonds in a chest, then they can simply insert a diamond in the item category slot of the compact hopper and then it will only filter through diamonds whilst ignoring all the other items. Perhaps another potential use of nickel is that it can be crafted into tools and armour, making nickel the nether equivalent of iron from the overworld.

    I think Cooper should be used because it doesn't have much use, instead of adding another ore.

    Whilst i agree, i dont think making compact hoppers from copper would fit well. Can still add plenty of other uses for copper like copper wrenches, pipes, e.t.c. The nether still lacks plenty on ores so i thought nickel would be the perfect ore to add.
