Like a regular spyglass, the idea is that you could craft a "death spyglass" with one echo shard and two copper ingots, and looking through it would show you a panoramic view of where you last died, minus any entities so your view wouldn't be obstructed by mobs. A panoramic screenshot would be taken upon a player's death and saved, and then looking through a death spyglass would allow you to look around in the area where you last died. This would be preferred to having the spyglass actually load the chunks where you died because of the potential for lag and possible exploits of being able to arbitrarily load a chunk at a far distance. And having this built-in system for taking panoramic screenshots could be helpful for pack makers as well. Being able to see the spot you died would be very helpful for finding your stuff, like when you remember what cave you died in but not exactly where you were in the cave. It would also be cool if the death panorama had a bluish tint to it, or maybe some kind of dreamy effect, to make it clear to the player that you are looking at a single point in time and not seeing it in real-time. If the player hasn't died yet, looking through a death spyglass would show a misty haze.
