The Echo Shards were added to Minecraft on snapshot 21w14a, currently its only use being crafting the Recovery Compass that helps you find where you died.
I just had the idea similiar to the existing feature of putting fireworks in your off-hand and shooting them with a crossbow, except now you could do this with Echo Shards.
It would work like shooting a regular arrow, but, when it crashes into a block, it breaks and produces a loud sound (and maybe having its own particle effect?) and immediately aggravates a nearby non-angry Warden and targets the same spot where the Shard crashed, but later the Warden would realize that it's attacking a block and retracts.
The effect could have a 15 second cooldown, and if another Shard is shot before the cooldown finishes, the Warden now would target the player that shot the crossbow.
If would deal very little damage, if it's a mob it would run away, and the Warden would be now targeting the entity that was shot. In case the Warden is hit instead, the Warden would target the same player that shot the Shard.
I am a non-native English Speaker and this is my first time suggesting something (not just for Minecraft!), and I think this is longer than it should.
