Copper Wires

This particular copper wire is similar to Ender Rods except they would act like a wire and be connecting wires to perform electricity to redstone machines. They are the color of copper and are useful for wiring electricity vertically. However, it requires a lightning rod to be struck by lightning in order to power it or a Redstone input.

  I like the idea for "vertical redstone." But, waiting for lightning to power it wouldn't be great. You need to wait for a thunderstorm and for lightning to strike the lightning rod and on. Maybe it could just need a redstone input?
