Different eating speeds for different foods.

The eating speeds off foods could be changed to make more type of food useful, and to make them useful in different ways.

Currently there is no reason to eat most foods. Almost all foods behave exactly the same, so players eat whatever is most filling. If foods like apples, carrots, etc. were eaten faster, there would be a reason to choose them over foods like steak. Kelp does this, but it's stats are too low for it to be a viable option for most players.

You could also have certain foods take longer. Currently, foods like rabbit stew have to have low stats so they don't throw off game balance. If these foods took longer to eat, they could have higher stats, which would give players a reason to make them.

    Rabbit stew is just hilarious. The whole dish is less satiating than the individual ingredients. Is this some kind of postirony from the developers?

    this doesn't fix the problem because the only determining factors would be hunger per second and saturation. rather than hunger gained and saturation.
