Piglins in Flat worlds

A lot of players enjoy doing restrictive challenges like playing survival in a flat world. The fun comes from building yourself up from nothing, using only the game rules. However, there is one major item that cannot be obtained in this way. Lava.

Lava is a key component in cobblestone generators, and can be turned into obsidian for a nether portal. However, as of right now, it must be found naturally. It is technically renewable through piglins, but those can only be found in the nether, which you need either lava or obsidian to reach. This means restrictive challenges have to either give the player lava or sacrifice huge portions of the game.

It is possible to obtain zombified piglins in one of these challenges by striking pigs with lightning. Because of this, I suggest having them turn into a regular piglin instead. This would give the player the power to obtain lava on their own, following the spirit of the challenge better, while remaining difficult. As a bonus, they will zombify after a short time, so you still get the old functionality too.
