Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Uncraftable Amethyst Tools & Armor (Works differently)

An uncraftable amethyst variety of tools/weapons and armor could be an interesting addition as mid-game loot with a trade off. It would be better than diamond in defense points or mining speed, but have about the same durability as iron tools & armor (if not less). It wouldn't be enchantable (Lore-wise, maybe this could be related to its ability to block out light). This would be good to use before you get netherite (but you'd still want to get diamonds for the netherite, and the durability). The idea is that you can find these as loot, but not be able to craft them, and you have to find an amethyst geode and use amethyst shards to repair the tools/armor. This would further incentivize the collection of amethyst.

    I think that there should also be an amethyst encrusted arrow that allows the arrows to be enchanted with enchantments like 'chains' from MC dungeons or 'thundering' from the base game of Minecraft. -

    This is a good idea! Weapons should do a bit more attack damage than diamond. Maybe it could also be the only armor which works with an invisibility potion.
