Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Dyeable written books instead of the glistening effect

Make it so that written books are dyeable instead of being covered with the glistening effect! It makes sense because books are made of leather and leather is dyable. And also, the glistening effect applies to magic items so having a glistening book with no magical properties just doesn't make sense. Then again, it's minecraft. But dyed book covers would be nice for aesthetic reasons and to differenciate multiple written books from one another.

    omg yes, but how would you dye it? do u just put it into a crafting table?

    This is honestly the most down to earth and actually decent thing i have seen here in a while

     I  LOVE IT! Yes, yes, please, why not, just like leather armor can be dyed

    This is great with the new chiseled bookshelf being added. Different colored books could show up as different colors on the chiseled bookshelf.
