Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Echo shard geodes

With the new 1.19 snapshot released, a new item called the echo shard was added to the deep dark loot. In my opinion, we should take this opportunity to add some new echo block variants to the game. some of them would create and echo geode. Sort of like amethyst, there would be echo crystals, echo Crystal blocks, budding echo blocks, and then smooth basalt and calcite on the outer layer. I would like these to be smaller than amethyst geodes however. Maybe, like mounds of it protruding from the ceiling and floor. I would also think it would be cool if it glowed, like the glow squid, but not emit any light.

    Though I’m not opposed to the idea, you are suggesting sculk geodes because that is what echo shards are made of.

    I suppose. I was just being specific. Technically the echo shard is a sculk item. I think there could be more to it.

    No, if there was a way to farm it than it would defeat the purpose of going to the deep dark. I think it should be able to be crafted into Echo crystals and then echo Crystal blocks, however it wouldn’t work the other way around.

    Well my farming suggestion I feel would only be possible in the deep dark and would probably allow you to convert amethyst crystals into skulk/echo shards (or some kind of conversion system like that that would spend the resources used)

    That sound really interesting. Now that we know what the echoshards fully do, I feel it wouldn’t be that bad to farm them. I love your amethyst idea.
