Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

This would be pretty cool! I think it would also be neat if they added more sound elements to the game overall so that it'd have more use outside of the ancient city :)

or you could make it an enchantment that prevents vibrations based on your experience, and echo shards could be used to get the experience required by being crafted into bottles of enchanting which wouldn't make vibrations when you're wearing the enchanted armour

Kingbdogz said he didn't want to add anything to minecraft that makes you invisible to the warden and undetectable to it so instead of that maybe it could give nearby enemies the darkness affected Making then unable to see you for brief moments and not attacking you

The helmet should also detect vibrations and sense how far they are. I think it should be 0.5 protection points than netherite armor.

Why not use diamond instead? It wouldn't make you vibration-proof, either - that could be the purview of bringing back wool/"cloth" armor - but it would at the very least mask your scent from the Warden making it more viable to sneak around when the Warden is close by. Similar to how standard piglins smell your gold armor and think you're one of them, so long as you're not making too many vibrations when sneaking around (keep your hands off those chests!), the Warden would think you're part of the surrounding environment and leave you alone, at least until you stop sneaking or do something that makes noise regardless of sneaking.

And let's face it, this would give Echo Shards a viable use in Hardcore worlds, along with another user's suggestion above of using them for Bottles o' Enchanting. Perhaps a name for this armor could be "Skulked" Armor, and it would be an armor-only tier similar to leather and chainmail, as tools wouldn't be very viable in any similar function. (And before someone mentions quietly mining in the Deep Dark: Sculk does not mask vibrations. That's what wool is for. Perhaps cover them with "cloth" instead at the cost of efficiency.)

Being able to not make vibrations would be overpowered. Nothing says that you won't ever go back to an ancient city after getting echo shards. There's more there than the shards. If it were to exist, it shouldn't be as good as netherite. That would be unbalanced, having high protection and make no vibrations. It should be more around the level of iron or lower.
