Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Piton for ascending/descending

A piton is a sharp wedge that's driven into rocks to aid in rock climbing. With the new deep caves and cliffs, it can often be very difficult to climb or make your way down a cliff side! With a piton, players could hang off the side of a cliff by attaching to a block. They then would have the option to move the piton (and themselves) one block to either side or one block above or below them, as long as they could hover the face of the block.

This would allow players to slowly traverse cliffs without having to build staircases. If it would make things too easy, it could be an interesting expensive to craft or a hard to find item.

    Not to hard hard maybe they only come in diamond or netherite it should be crafted like a hoe with a lead at the end of it
