Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Pinecones and Acorns (functioning like Propagules)

My idea is to add an item that functions like the propagules for all tree types, the new mangrove trees and the propagules are really cool, but it feels kinda different from the other tree types, but in fact, many trees actually reproduce via appendages and fruits, oak has acorns, spruce has pinecones, birch has winged samaras and acacia has long seedpods.

The saplings would still be in the game, but they wouldn't naturally drop with the decaying leaves, to obtain it the player must manually break the leaves, but with a slightly smaller chance of dropping it (maybe we can have mangrove sapling too).

These new items can add much more life to forests and would be a really nice way to incorporate more real-life biology to the game.

    YES I wanted this as well, but the sapling could just be what the tree planting item looks like when you plant it, so you plant a pinecone in the ground and it looks like the classic little tree.
