What if the new soul dimension (The Sift) actually acted like an afterlife driven by your world's kill stats? Minecraft already tracks every mob you kill (stat.killEntity), so instead of random spawns, the soul world could literally generate every mob you’ve ever slaughtered in that world save. Passive mobs like cows and sheep would come back as hostile soul forms out for revenge, so the longer you play and the more you farm, the more chaotic the dimension gets. Then, killing them in the soul world clears their stat record and cycles them back into the normal Overworld spawn table. It’d make the dimension feel unique to your own playstyle history while adding a really cool reincarnation cycle to the lore.
