I would like to suggest a conservative world depth expansion down to Y=-96 (adding exactly 32 blocks, which perfectly aligns with the 16-block chunk logic).Huge vertical expansions cause severe performance drops on low-end hardware, especially older mobile devices on Bedrock Edition. Stopping at Y=-96 is a well-optimized middle ground that gives more room without harming performance. To keep it clean and optimized, this extra 32-block layer should just extend the existing Deepslate down to the new Bedrock floor.Instead of changing Diamond generation, Diamond peaks could remain at Y=-63. This new deep zone (Y=-64 to Y=-96) could host a brand new, exclusive ore! This would give players a massive incentive to explore the deepest dark without messing with the game's current progression or hardware stability.
