I think it would be really cool to add more creepy biomes like pale forest. So I wanna propose my idea which is "Charred Forest". This biome is very rare and usually not that big. It's a forest that has caught on fire a few days ago and then the fire went out. (You'll actually never see it on fire, only the aftermath). The trees has no leaves, its logs have the same texture as oak, but they're pretty much black because of the fire. There's a lot of dead bushes. The grass will also be black, or in some cases there is only dirt. When entering the biome a fog appears, kinda like the pale biome. And in this biome there are more lava lakes than usual. Which is a cool easter egg because in normal forests where there is lava lakes, the forest usual catches on fire and the minecraft community usually calls that a forest fire. There is obviously no mobs in this biome, maybe just monsters. So the whole hue of that biome is a very dark brown to grey/black. Maybe it will rain ash just how it snows in snow biome. When converting the logs into planks it turns into black/ dark grey planks. There is a chance of when cutting the logs that it drops charcoal. Maybe some remains of villages kinda like the abandoned villages but all roof and walls are gone. And under this biome there is a big chance of big caves with a lot of big lava lakes in it. That's all I could think of for now.
